CHOCOLATE CHIP PECAN CRUMB CAKE
Cake:
2 1/2 cups Krusteaz Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
1/4 cup Krusteaz Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350ºF. For Cake: In large bowl, blend together 2 1/2 cups Krusteaz Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix, water, sugar, egg and vanilla until moistened. Spoon batter into lightly greased 8x8x2-inch pan. Set aside. For Topping: In small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup Krusteaz Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter with fork or pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
